“Can this be connected to power full time rather that on battery? Does 4k run hotter than HD?”

• We have 6 of these for some of my employees that needed the 17” landscape. Yes, this can be connected all the time via power chord. I have not noticed these head up at any time of use. Personally, I use the 15.6” and love it. I own a law firm, title company and several real estate ventures. Since COVID - I have an additional external monitor I use with it (another portable 17”) and have zero problems.

• Yes you can leave the Lenovo Yoga V940-4K model plugged in. It is recommend you use the Battery Conservation Mode Power Management setting to help prolong the overall life of the internal battery. This software will only let the battery charge to 60-percent, even though the computer is plugged in all the time.
