400s is better options since they not produce toxic ozone. the plasma pro can be turn off which defeat the point of buying one unless you really need it right away and not few months later

Yes there is on/off mode, it is only on if you turn it on.

The plasma function works by breaking down pollutants' molecular structure through the bonding of negative and positive ions. The PlasmaPro 200S, 400s, and 600S models all have an optional plasma function. Please note that the PlasmaPro models also have ozone-free versions on our website (Core 200S, 400S, & 600S).
