• Hepa is less dense than True Hepa. True Hepa have smaller pores and can filter out smaller particles.

• Great question! This unit contains a grade H13 True HEPA filter, which captures 99.97% of airborne contaminants that are 0.3 microns and 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, including viruses. We hope this helps!
