I know this vents to outside - is there a damper included? I ask because my current (old) range hood has no damper and the cold air in the winter zooms right in. I have block it off in the winter. Does this come with a trim kit? Does it need one? null

Yes LMV1831st includes a damper, although flimsy, I'm sure it will do the trick. No it does not include a trim kit.

The LG 1.6 cu. ft. Non-Sensor Over the Range Microwave Oven, Model # LMV1683ST is designed to be installed between upper Kitchen cabinets that have a 30" minimum cabinet opening width so there is not trim kit required no is there one available for Over-the-range microwave ovens. The unit does have a damper that must be assembled for roof venting and wall venting...^IFV
