Hi, The LG 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1414GXR has a decibel level rating of 58dB. That is lower than that of normal conversational speech which is rated at 60dB, but keep in mind that a 1dB increase or decrease in sound intensity is the smallest change that the human ear can hear which is a change of about 10%. The unit does come with a window venting kit which consists of a Type A 18" window vent panel, a Type C and Type D extension panel bot of which are 17" and a Type B panel that is 9". You also have Type A Foam Seals (Adhesive), 1 Type B Foam Seal (Non-adhesive), 2 Type C Foam Seals (Adhesive type-Shorter), a security bracket and some screws...IFV
