QuestionManual says LMV2031 has Multi-stage cooking, but it seems to be disabled. Only option after entering first stage is "Push Start". Is Multi-Stage disabled on units sold by discount retailers? (All other functions work properly.) Unit mfgr. in Seoul Korea.

- Answer I see no reason that this will not work in place of your GE over the range microwave. The width of these units is standardized. The depth and height vary a little but there should be no issues. We purchased the LG unit recently to replace a Samsung that developed problems. We find this LG microwave cooks faster than the Samsung. In fact, this LG cooks faster then our countertop Amana Radarange which up to now, has been our “gold standard”. I think you will like this LG.

QuestionCan the time on this microwave be DisAbled? Since the color of the clock on the gas range (BLUE) and this microwave (GREEN) is different...it would be ideal to disable the clock on the microwave.

QuestionThe wall ducting behind my microwave does not align with both knockouts for wall venting. Is it okay to only knockout one of the knockouts on the microwave so that it is centered with the existing ducting? I’ve attached a photo for reference.

- Answer If the microwave is cooking, the vent fan turns on automatically if the sensors detect too much heat from the cooktop. This is normal, and is designed to prevent microwave component damage. ^Daphane

QuestionGot this last year..its been making a noise like something is wrong with the turntable..I checked everything...still making that noise...any suggestions..? Not used to getting a brand new MW nit acting up just after one yr! My last one lasted for 19 yrs!

- Answer Technically Yes, but then your not able to use the cooking light and vent system that it’s designed for use over the stove. My strong suggestion is if you want a counter microwave than that’s what you should buy. Otherwise it’s like buying a pool for a birdbath.
