• I see no reason that this will not work in place of your GE over the range microwave. The width of these units is standardized. The depth and height vary a little but there should be no issues. We purchased the LG unit recently to replace a Samsung that developed problems. We find this LG microwave cooks faster than the Samsung. In fact, this LG cooks faster then our countertop Amana Radarange which up to now, has been our “gold standard”. I think you will like this LG.
