QuestionHow big is the window?I've seen this model on other sites and the biggest complaint by far is the small window (from other sites). Of course the model shown on other sites is white with black face around the window and the buttons. This all white model appears to have a larger window that is the full size shown, while the other unit appears to have a smaller viewable window inside a black frame. Can anyone confirm that the viewable size of the microwave's window is the full gray area seen in the picture on this site? I wish they carried this in store so I could see for myself.

- Answer 7" H x 18 3/4" W - This is on the stainless model. The measurements are the class you look through.

QuestionWhere is the serial number on the LG MVEL2033F Over-the-Range-Microwave? Please don't say on the rear of the product because it was installed with a great deal of effort by my elderly husband. I have attached a picture of the label inside the door.

QuestionIn the "what to know before you buy" video, it states that you need at least 30 inches of distance between the stove top and the bottom of the microwave. I don't see how that is even possible. The average person would need a step stool to use it.

- Answer If the video said that it is wrong. The installation manual says it needs to be 30-in from bottom of cabinet (above microwave) to the cooking surface, NOT bottom of microwave to the cooking surface. My micro is 15" above the cooking surface, FWIW.

QuestionCan I change the light bulb to an LED or does it have to be a Halogen?

- Answer Yes, you can absolutely use an LED bulb. The halogen just runs too hot and when mine burned out I simply replaced it with an LED bulb for $5. High and low setting's work fine. Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7H8BN51?th=1

- Answer The LG - 2.0 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless-Steel, LMV2031ST as an Over the Range microwave is designed to be installed in a cabinet opening that has a maximum depth of 13" with an opening width of 30" and a minimum of 30" clearance from the bottom of the cabinet to the cooking surface or countertop before installation. The microwave has a width of 29 15/16" so that there only space left once installed in the appropriately sized cabinet opening, there is a minimal amount of space left that ensures an adequate airflow around the unit. When installed in accordance with the instructions given in the installation manual, there is no need for filler panels which is why none are available. ^CP

QuestionI want the clock to display all the time. When I push the energy saver it comes on for 5 minutes then goes off again. Can I get it to come on and stay on?

- Answer Don't use the energy saver button and then the clock display will stay on. The energy saver button is only for the clock I believe.
