“In the "what to know before you buy" video, it states that you need at least 30 inches of distance between the stove top and the bottom of the microwave. I don't see how that is even possible. The average person would need a step stool to use it.”

If the video said that it is wrong. The installation manual says it needs to be 30-in from bottom of cabinet (above microwave) to the cooking surface, NOT bottom of microwave to the cooking surface. My micro is 15" above the cooking surface, FWIW.
