• We have no issues with any lag on the sub. We only use with Bluetooth music through our phones. Not sure about the other remote use question.

• Yes it will. Our son-in-law set the remote to work the sound bar so we no longer need to use the separate remote.

• I've experienced no lag in sound. I ran the audio through the TV to enable volume control.
