Go into your menu on the Tv and you have to turn it off for the best quality sound.Of course this depends on brand of Tv.Vizo I don't the no no matter what you can turn off.But your more name brands you can.Typically if you have the optical cord hooked up and output selected it should go off the sound bar settings and not the tv.
