Yes. If your TV has "ARC" capabilities then you can connect the soundbar's ARC HDMI output to your TV's ARC HDMI input. Look at the labeling on the HDMI inputs on your TV to see which one it is; it will show "HDMI ARC". Doing this allows you to power on both the TV and soundbar with just the TV remote (or cable or satellite remote). You may also be able to use volume and mute functions with the soundbar as well. The other way to connect your soundbar is via the optical cord (included with the soundbar). But with this setup you have to use the soundbar remote for all operations of the soundbar.
