Hi, there, we recommend to use it indoor. Soundbars are designed to be positioned just under your TV, and there shouldn't be anything directly in front of the soundbar. Here's the manual for installation https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-SN4A.DUSALLK ^Vanessa

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I would not use this system in any outdoor environment and especially not in a consistently high humidity climate. Outdoor speaker systems are completely weatherized and that includes the drivers (the actual speakers installed in the unit). Most indoor speaker systems use drivers with speaker cones made of paper. Paper and long-term high humidity do not work well together. Outdoor speaker systems have enclosures made of weather resistant material ...like plastic. While the sound bar itself *appears* to be made of plastic, the sub is definitely not; its enclosure is made of particle board. And typically outdoor speakers are sealed from the elements; this sound bar combo is definitely not with a few openings probably for heat venting ...but perfect for insects to make their homes. The sub has a rear facing port; a perfect spot for mud daubers to invade.
