It's hard to determine why the water is leaking from your LG 22 cu.ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator, 33” Width, Under 66” Height, Model # LSXS22423S without knowing where exactly it is leaking. If the water is leaking inside, it could be from something that may have spilled, water from the water filter or from the ice maker. Check that the door to the ice maker compartment is shut all the way. If the compartment is not shut properly, air can escape and melt the ice causing it to leak. You may also want to check the water filter. Check the 'O' rings at the end of the filter to make sure that they are not cracked, stretched or seated incorrectly and while you're checking that, make sure that there aren't any cracks or damage to the filter compartment. If the water pressure is too high, that can also result in water overflowing in the ice tray and in that case, you can try reducing the size of the ice cubes, turn down the home valve to partially close the water supply or install a water pressure regulator...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same thing happened to mine. Since mine was not producing a lot of ice during that time, I suspect it had to do with the ice maker. If it looks like you aren't getting a lot of ice then I would suggest the repair technician start with the ice maker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would assume that you are talking about the water dispenser. This model has a poor design and the valve is slow to shut off, after removal of a glass or cup. Make sure that you continue to hold the glass under the dispenser until well after you pull the glass or cup away from the paddle (which shuts off the water) - slowly remove the glass, until the water stops dripping.
