“Does the ice maker unit function well being in the door? Our current fridge (not LG) ice maker in door stopped working. When it did work the ice clumped together from the humidity in the South and the door being opened and closed throughout the day.”

• When the ice clumps up, which happens occasionally, it is easily remedied by opening the door lever and shaking the ice bin to loosen the ice cubes.
