“Owners manual does not address this in any way. How or can the left door be adjusted so it does not slam shut. One must purposely hold the door back from slamming. Letting the door shut on its own is not an option if you want to keep btls from breaking”

• The left door is heavier because of the added weight of the icemaker but I don't think it should slam shut if the unit is properly leveled.
