Are the ice makers power buttons set in the "on" position out of the box or in the "off" position? The manual does not say. I do not have water hooked up to the fridge and the manual says they should be off if not in use. A picture would have helped. null

Mine was delivered 2 weeks ago and both ice makers were in the "on" position. The lower ice maker's switch is hard to see, it's at the top of the freezer compartment. The lower one started making ice before the upper one. I turned it off since I don't need that much ice in the winter... Good Luck!

Yes both buttons were on the ON posistion.

The ice maker in the door, came out of the box with the ice maker switch in the on position. It should not be that way.
