• A:Answer The pedestals are compatible in size, but not recommended for the dryer you've mentioned. Since the dryer has the control panel positioned in the rear of the unit, it would prove to be difficult to reach the controls when on the pedestal.

• A:Answer Technically, yes, the pedestals are compatible in size with this laundry pair, but not recommended. Both the washer and dryer have the control panel on the top of the machines and adding the pedestals might prove to be difficult to reach the controls.

Q: QuestionCan one run a vent up through the pedestal and connect to the bottom of the dryer?

• A:Answer No. The vent opening is able to be installed in two spots. On the side or back. The pedestal is metal with no openings for a vent.

Q: QuestionCompatibility and installationIs the WDP4 pedestal compatable with 4.8 cu washer (WM3875) and 7.4 cu electric dryer (DLEX3875)? Also as the bolts have been removed (I've been using), is there a risk of damage to install the pedestals since I will need to turn the W/D on their sides? THe original seller will not install so I am going to buy and install myself.

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. There are several reasons that will cause a Washer that cannot be lessened by placing the Washer on a pedestal. An unbalanced load will cause the Washer to vibrate and if the Washer is not level or was not installed on a floor that could support its weight when it is fully loaded without the Washer bouncing or the floor flexing. The other reason would be if the floor is sloped. That will also cause excessive vibration regardless of whether or not the Washer is placed on a pedestal. In fact, placing the Washer on a pedestal under the above mentioned situations could pose a potentially dangerous situation and put you in harm's way...IFV

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The only pedestals that are currently available for LG washers and dryers are the WDP4* and the WDP5* which are for washers and dryers that are 27" wide and 29" wide respectively! There aren't any smaller pedestals...IFV

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Pedestals such as the LG - Washer/Dryer Laundry Pedestal for Most LG Washers and Dryers - Model # WDp4* will not reduce the vibrations from a washer/dryer. If the floor that the washer/dryer is installed on cannot support the weight of the washer/dryer when it is fully loaded and if the floor has any flexing or bowing, you will get vibrations. Unbalanced loads will also cause excessive vibrations and shaking and you also will want to place a level measure to ensure that the unit is level even if it looks level from just observation...IFV

Q: QuestionPedestal for the LG - Washer/Dryer 2.7 Cu. UnitJust purchased the LG - 2.7 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Washer and 6-Cycle Dryer Combo - Graphite Steel. What Pedestal can you recommend that I purchase for this unit? The LG - Washer/Dryer Laundry Pedestal, Model: WDP4V | SKU: 9763303for says "for Most LG Washers and Dryers". Would this fit my soon to be delivered LG - 2.7 Cu. Unit? I really would like to purchase a Pedestal, but have not seen one for the LG -2.7 Cu. Combo. It just does not make sense that a Pedestal was not made for the LG - 2.7Cu. Combo. Please advise.

• A:Answer Hello Wondering. Thank you for your interest in the LG Washer/Dryer Laundry Pedestal, Model # WDP4_. This pedestal is designed for Washer/Dryers or stand alone Washers and Dryers that have a width of 27". Without knowing the model number of your Washer/Dryer Combo, it cannot be determined if this pedestal will fit, but judging by the cubic foot capacity that you mentioned, it all likelihood it will not fit since 2.7 cubic foot units are small...IFV
