- Answer I was told by BEST BUY that the WDP3 pedestal was not compatible with these machines. However, now I'm reading that they are. Just wondering if the "confusion" is a good way to increase sales for new pedestal.

- Answer If you pay the delivery fee, it's worth it. The installation involves taking machines out, mounting with hardware, balancing and re-installing. You will be thankful in the end for a small fee.

- Answer The LG - Laundry Pedestal with Storage Drawer - Graphite Steel, Model # WDP4V is designed to be compatible with select 27" (width) washers and dryers. The 27 Inch LG XL Front Load Stackable Washing Machine, Model # WM2277HS and the 27 Inch LG Gas Dryer with 7.3 Cu. Ft. Capacity & 9 Drying Programs, Model # DLG5988S may not fit. Both these units were compatible with the LG Laundry Pedestal, Model # WDP2V which had a depth of 25.4" and the WDP4V has a depth of 28 2/5". That indicates that the feet on the WM2277HS and the DLG5988S are set differently and will not fit into the designated slots for the feet on the WDP4V pedestal. You can verify this with our Support Center at (800) 243-0000...^IFV

QuestionDoes the LG wdp3w fit the LG wm4270hva washing machineMy current LG washer just failed and I need to replace but I'd like to keep my pedestal and get another LG washer. I've read that the dimensions are the same for wdp3 and wdp4 pedestals. Are there additional components necessary to make it fit. And will installers install on my old pedestal or do I have to do it myself.

- Answer Installation is usually included with delivery. They are the same exact pedestals, just difference is the drawer with the handle and the newer which is flush. Do you know if there is a mounting kit currently installed on yours? You may be able to reuse it if there was
