There are several reasons that will cause a Washer that cannot be lessened by placing the Washer on a pedestal. An unbalanced load will cause the Washer to vibrate and if the Washer is not level or was not installed on a floor that could support its weight when it is fully loaded without the Washer bouncing or the floor flexing. The other reason would be if the floor is sloped. That will also cause excessive vibration regardless of whether or not the Washer is placed on a pedestal. In fact, placing the Washer on a pedestal under the above mentioned situations could pose a potentially dangerous situation and put you in harm's way...IFV

The only pedestals that are currently available for LG washers and dryers are the WDP4* and the WDP5* which are for washers and dryers that are 27" wide and 29" wide respectively! There aren't any smaller pedestals...IFV
