I understand through LG support that the gas supply in the back of the dryer is on the back right, towards the bottom (standing in front of the dryer). Where is the best location to stub out the new gas supply to connect to the dryer? Can it be installed in the floor and run up through the pedestal, or should it come out of the wall?”

My LG dryer is actually electric but I have always had the pipe feed a gas dryer from the wall. Running it up through the pedestal would mean that it would be very awkward to work on. Would be additional plumbing nightmares and chances for leaks. Also wondering if it would be exposed to extra rubbing against piping? Would not recomend.
