Pedestal - will existing one work? Need to replace my LG washer. Thinking of purchasing LG WM3570. Can my old pedestal, Part Number 3828ER3020A, be used with this washer?

It all depends on how/where they mount. I would figure that out and take measurements of my base and go to the store to compare to the new units. A more thorough approach would be to disassemble the two you have to get a clearer idea of how and where they mount.

I kept my old ones and hope to repurpose for storage somewhere else. Different brand and about 7 - 8 years old so totally incompatible

Thank you for your inquiry, however, the part number that you gave is not coming up as that for a laundry pedestal. It would be better if you could locate the tag on the unit that has a model number on it so that we can answer your question adequately. The LG WM3570* washer has a width of 27" so if you measure your current pedestal and it measures 27 inches in width, then it may work. The LG - Washer/Dryer Laundry Pedestal for Most LG Washers and Dryers, Model # WDP4* is designed to be compatible with most dryers/washers that are 27" in width and it replaced the WDP3*...^IFV
