“Based on previous answers, it appears a new WM4000HWA washer that goes with the WDP4 pedestal will work with my old WDP3. My question is: do I need a new set of metal plates to connect them? If yes, where do I get them?”

The pedestals are interchangeable. You can contact Encompass Supply Chain (855-371-0084) www.encompass.com to order additional parts and accessories. ^Daphane
