Return it or get it serviced. It's obviously defective. Either that or there is something blocking the receiver in the bezel. Make sure you removed all of the protective plastic tape that they coverred it with for shipping. The on/off switch: face the screen, put your fingers under the set in the far left corner and slowly slide them to the right. You will find a raised circular piece of plastic with a button embedded inside. That's your switch.
