In PC mode,there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the [Picture] menu until the picture is clear. The TV may have a slow response time from your keyboard or mouse commands. and in general, TVs don’t display text, as well as a computer monitor, which is specifically designed for that purpose. The TV has built-in tuners so if you are only planning to use the TV strictly as a computer monitor, you will have paid for a feature that you do not use...^IFV

• no it cannot. it is not a smart TV and in fact is pretty difficult to use for anything other than local network TV viewing
