How many craft ice pieces should the system make. It seemed like it only made 3 for an entire night. Also, the ice level in the main door ice container seems to be low. It is in no way filling the container up with ice. Can I set the level or Qty null

It makes 3-6 a day. See manual about how to choose which number. You can also set the other ice maker to make more ice, but I think it only does so for so long, at which time you have to set it back to "more ice". See manual for directions. The panel to set things is in the refrigerator. You can also hook it up to Wi-Fi with an LQ Thin app, but I haven't done that yet. That probably allows you to choose ice settings, too. By the way, if you just got the fridge when posting this question, it can take two days to make a full container of ice.
