• Once you hook up the soundbar to an LG TV the TV remote will actually turn it on and control the volume. You do not have to use the sound bar remote.

• My Samsung tv remote will control the volume of the sound system. The only time I really us the system remote is to change the sound setting form tv to music and to balance the speakers (ie. Making the subwoofer louder of quieter)
