“How can you turn off the power saver light? It looks like the water container that you remove to take water out should be connected to something but doesn't seem to be on my dryer. I have dried 3 loads now and there is no water in the container...normal?”

I have no answer for the power saver light as I like saving power so would not disable that mode. If the dryer was installed by Best Buy and is adjacent to your clothes washing machine, the installers probably used the included kit to route the dryer's water output to the drain you washing machine uses saving you the need of emptying the water collection tank every time you run the dryer.
