You should call LG to be sure (I talked with them) - I use "Drain & Spin" after a cycle is completed if I think the load is still too wet and needs another spin at a higher speed. Without selecting another cycle, I press the Power button, then the Spin Speed button (press it until you get the spin speed you want), and then hit start. The machine will not add more water but instead will spin and drain out the excess water. Then you need less time in the dryer.
