Honestly, I don't feel they resolved the mold and mildew problem. I am constantly have wretched odors in my clothes and washer AFTER a wash has been completed. The washer is only five months old for me. I have now used five affresh drained the hose three times at the bottom of the washer cleaned the filter, I leave the door open after each wash, and I use HE laundry soap and make sure that there is not too much. My clothes continue to smell like mildew and just consistently get worse. Not to mention if I sweat just a little bit doing house chores or minimal yard work I smell like mildew . It's absolutely horrible. I have now had someone out to look at the washer since I have ran out of options. They said there is nothing they can do. So if you get this washer good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have a solution for this. Instead of putting bleach in the bleach compartment, we put regular vinegar on every wash, and the mildew smell simply goes away. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We purchased this model a couple of years ago and have no smell of mold or mildew. It's kind of a pain, but to avoid those issues we wipe down the inside of the door glass and inside the lip of the door gasket. We also leave the door open for a couple of hours.
