I would see about having your dryer plug up higher, I needed a 10ft plug and it is a 4 prong that came with mine. (Comes standard with a 6ft one.) other stuff i believe is in the normal spots but definitely recommend the dryer plug to be up high.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd suggest placement of connections could depend on how close the machine needs to be to the wall. If depth is critical you may want to put the dryer vent in the wall beside the machine so you can change the vent to the side and not have to have space for the venting behind the machine. The connection to the vent should be a flexible metal that will allow moving the machine at least a little without disconnecting. The water supplies and drain don't take up much space, so are not critical where they are placed. I'd suggest having the electrical outlets placed NOT behind the machine so you can unplug them without moving the machine. These days, appliances sometimes need to be re-booted by unplugging. 3 vs. 4 prong plug for the dryer--the machine is capable of both, so use whatever is code for your area. For a new construction situation, the builder will probably want to place things beside studs, where it's easier to make things sturdy. That should be fine, precise placement is not critical.
