A:AnswerPerhaps you could find users with experience using flat dryer vents in the ratings of the vents.
I would think it could be fine as long as there aren't too many other challenges to air flow. Elbows, turns and long runs all slow the flow. If there are too many the dryer sensor that monitors air flow may give you a constant alert.
A:AnswerThe dryer vent is at the bottom of the dryer portion of the unit. It's in the center, but can be moved to either side (left only for gas dryer). LG does not provide any dryer vent hose. ^Daphane
A:AnswerAdding steam to a wash cycle helps provide superior cleaning performance. Using steam gives
fabrics the cleaning benefits of a very hot wash. Steam may not be clearly visible during steam
cycles. This is normal. Too much steam could damage clothing. Do not use steam with delicate fabrics such as wool and silk, or easily discolored fabrics. ^Daphane

A:AnswerIntegrated water heater offers built-in heating elements to enable your wash water to consistently reach higher temperatures than your household water heater can deliver. Automatic Temperature Control feature regulates hot and cold temperatures of the water or air within the appliance in order to keep them in the optimal range for each cycle. A:AnswerThe carton mine came in said "Made in Korea". But, LG also has a large factory in the US for making washing machines.
There is a drain filter that protects the pump. It is easily cleaned out via a rectangular access door on the front of the machine. A clog before this pump can cause all sorts of problems, so if the machine starts to malfunction, this is a good thing to check. You may avoid needing a repair tech.
Here is an LG video that shows the process: https://youtu.be/5Ty3bVhR5iM
It's easy to do but if you are good about emptying pockets of coins and the other kinds of things that can make it to this filter, you may find you almost never need to clean it.
A:AnswerNo, the unit needs to be vented. The exhaust duct must be 4 '' (10 cm) in diameter with no obstructions. The total length of flexible metal duct must not exceed 8 ft. (2.4 m). ^Daphane
A:AnswerYes, there is a dry flat option available via the LG ThinQ app. Install the rack and choose the "Rack Dry" cycle from ThinQ & select "send to product" and the dryer will respond it's ready to go--hit the Start button.
