A:AnswerA power cord is not supplied for the washtower dryer. It should be connected to a 4-hole outlet. The dryer has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). Electrical service for the dryer should be of the maximum rate voltage listed on the nameplate. Do not connect the dryer to 110-, 115-, or 120-volt circuit. ^Daphane

A:AnswerIf you're having the appliance delivered by Best Buy, they'll make you purchase the power cord and connector hoses. Sounds like an upsell, but all it really means is that the installation includes attaching the power cable to the unit, and the hoses to the wall, and making sure the thing works as it's supposed to. So, basically, a long way of saying, if you bought the delivery/installation service, they're going to make sure it's the right type of cabling and hoses. To make sure, you may want to take a picture of the wall/fixtures where the unit will be installed, so that they can see exactly the types of connectors, outlets, etc... that you have, so that they have the right connectors in stock.
A:AnswerNot sure if this what you are asking but mine was put in front of water connections. I placed a new cabinet next to it and side vented mine through the cabinet to the outside vent in the wall. I have easy access to the water supply through the inside of the cabinet and also easy vent cleaning trough the cupboard without pulling out the washer/dryer
A:AnswerTo ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4'' (10 cm) behind the appliance. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane
