Q: QuestionSo if I understand correctly, you need 4" in back of the machine if venting to the rear. How much space in the rear do I need if venting to the side? (I'm hoping it can fit a total depth of 32").

Q: QuestionIs the washer on the bottom? I don't see a dimension given for the washer with the door all the way open.

• A:Answer The washer is on the bottom with the dryer above it. The doors swing to the left and extend about 24-25 inches out. I absolutely love my LG washer dryer combo. If you go to Best Buy's website and look at the product page, there is a download for the manual and an overview of the product that should give you any other information you might need. The unit is 27 inches wide (4.3 gallon washer) and approximately 31 7/8 inches deep. with the doors open the depth would be around 56 inches deep. I installed mine in the main floor bath so I didn't have to worry about basement stairs and I have no regrets about the purchase.

• A:Answer The dryer should be connected to a 4-hole outlet. The dryer has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). Electrical service for the dryer should be of the maximum rate voltage listed on the nameplate. Do not connect the dryer to 110-, 115-, or 120-volt circuit. Use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends. ^Daphane
