“We are planing to place it in the hallway closet. Doe's the electrical dryer need exhaust? And for the gas dryer can we extend the exhaust from the back of the dryer to the roof? Thanks”

Yes, both the electrical and gas dryers require venting. The gas dryer has to be vented outside. The total length of flexible metal duct must not exceed 8 ft. (2.4 m).Please see page 19 for assistance with venting the dryer.
