Yes, both the electrical and gas dryers require venting. The gas dryer has to be vented outside. The total length of flexible metal duct must not exceed 8 ft. (2.4 m).Please see page 19 for assistance with venting the dryer. I do not know . I bought this in July 5th. So far I have not received the product yet. Delivery is so bad. reschedule 3 times. reschedule again on 8/30/2021. I hope this time will be ok. not sure yet. Sorry cannot answer you question.
