“we have a new construction home and the laundry room is set up for stacked units. the washer would set on the floor and the dryer is supposed to set on a shelf directly above the washer...roughly 5 inches apart? are these units capable of this?”

It can be disassembled to be moved but must be reassembled to operate. ^Daphane
