“How does it do on small loads? Most of my weekly loads will fill about half the washer. I also like washing cleaning towels which are only about 5-10 hand sized towels. How about bath mats? Any issues that cause it to rebalance? Thank you.”

I purchased this washer and it has not been good for small loads. The loads I have previously done in my 3.1 cu ft front loader cause this machine to become unbalanced and the drum bangs against the door. The door looks like it is going to fly off. I tried to wash a queen set of flannel sheets on the bulky/large cycle. It washes ok but it has a huge problem during the spin cycle. I added 3 bath towels and tried a rinse and spin to spin it out and it struggled along. I am not keen on adding clean laundry to balance the loads every time I do heavy items. The dryer also shakes and squeaks when the washer is getting up to full spin and when the washer is reducing speed. I have had the installers out three times. I confirmed that the shipping bolts were removed. I checked this pair at three Best Buy stores and all of the dryers shook by hand in the store. Maybe there is something wrong with the stacking kit with this washer and dryer? I contacted LG support and they were of no help. LG said that the washing machine should have no problem with small loads. I was not impressed with LGs customer service so I'm reconsidering if I want to purchase LGs. I am returning the machines. Very disappointed because they had good reviews, I liked how they looked, they fit my space perfectly, and they washed well.
