A:AnswerNot so far... Consider putting small loose items inside of a laundry bag made of netting, but perhaps there was a defect in the design of your model.

A:AnswerAn internal water heater is not listed in the specifications for this model, https://www.lg.com/us/support/products/documents/WM4000H_A%20Spec%20Sheet.pdf. Your hot water heater should be set to deliver water at 120–135 °F (48–57 °C) to allow the washer to properly control wash temperatures. ^Daphane
A:AnswerI no longer have a pet but there are so many settings too choose from I think you may be satisfied. I once had a lab and pet hair was an issue but my washers did a fair job. I don’t think with lab air I was ever to have it gone. But it was clean.
A:AnswerI can't say for certain if it's magnetic or not, but it falls into place and "catches" well when slightly ajar. It does feel like there is a magnet there as you need to pull slightly before it "releases". I've attached a picture for you.

A:AnswerLG Top loading washer DESTROYS clothing, always wrinkled, even with a few items, low water doesn't clean; I sometimes wash without soap, as dark clothes have soap stains. WORST washer ever, will replace as soon as practical The impeller is the most inefficient...will change to an agitator, which truly "washes" clothing.
