“Can the Sidekick Pedestal washer be placed on top of the main washer instead of under it? We don't need the storage pedestal under the dryer but would like the Sidekick washer. Would be more aesthetic to have main washer and dryer at the same height.”

By design, the pedestal should be placed under the washer. ^Daphane

There would be no way to hold the sidekick in place if it were on top. The pedestal, while pricey, comes in surprisingly handy for storing laundry aids.
