Just touch the temperature and it will cycle through the temperature you wish to use. Note that some of the cycles only allow certain temperatures and the machine won’t let you change to a temperature it isn’t programmed for.

I think YOUTUBE Has Directions on HOW YOU CAN HACK THE TEMPERTURE CONTROL ON THIS MACHINE or maybe just Lookup LG WASHERS TEMPERATURE HACK or Change Settings on the INTERNET.
  I DID SEE IT DONE WHILE RESEARCHING THIS MACHINE BUT FORGOT WHERE I SAW IT.
    Maybe LG can tell you as well.

It's not easy! The machine is not set for simple commands, it wants to tell you how to do laundry. 
I think I had to enable a special mode which allowed access to the 'Normal' cycle's water temperature selection. Other modes, you try to set the temperature and the HAL machine chimes back 'error: not letting you do that'.

if you want to freeze your clothes won't dry and you can just choose the normal mode the heat will be lower or you just choose the drying time you want. I think this is also an inconvenience that we don't want

Read the owner's manual. If you're to lazy to do that, tap TEMP and watch the white dot move to change temperature but you can't change temperature using AI setting.
