“I just purchased this TV and can hear the sound clearly on volume level 4 from roughly 10 feet away but when I lower the volume to level 3 the sound is basically muted. Does this happen with all the other owners also? Thanks for any help.”

• No, I don't have the problem you described. If this happens with the built in tuner as a source you may have a bad unit. If it's happening with a single external source only (cable or Sat box, DVD for example) your problem is likely there.
