When it comes to such misfortunes it is the best policy to just buy a new TV. Considering the market and how cheap these things are these days that would be a better solution for you. I am pretty sure if you ask Geek Squad or your local digital fixer-upper to do it they will charge you way more than the TV is worth. Hope you resolve the situation.
