I don't want to have to hook up a sound bar. How is the sound system on this TV? null

It seems average. I use mine with my surround sound at times, and other times just the TV speakers. It produces quality sound at a variety of sound levels

Depending on how close to the TV you are sitting and the size of the room it is installed in, you may or may not need something to enhance the audio. Drapes and whether your floors are carpeted or bare and how your furniture is arranged can also have an impact...^IFV
