• It seems average. I use mine with my surround sound at times, and other times just the TV speakers. It produces quality sound at a variety of sound levels

• The speakers on the LG Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 49" Class (48.5" Diag), Model # 49LJ550M have an output of 2 x 10 W and while wattage is not a measure of loudness, that is what you will get from a small box. Depending on how close to the TV you are sitting and the size of the room it is installed in, you may or may not need something to enhance the audio. Drapes and whether your floors are carpeted or bare and how your furniture is arranged can also have an impact...^IFV
