Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it mostly at night because i can’t sleep without a movie playing. So I just put it on “repeat”. But I’m sure it has auto shut off when you don’t put it on repeat & your movie stops playing. Just another little thing-I think it’s a great player because you don’t have to worry about connecting it to your internet unless you don’t have wireless internet. If you have wireless internet you don’t have to worry about playing your cable or like I have your Apple TV when the internet goes down. You can still play your movies on this player. All you need is the HDMI connection to your tv and wait for your internet comes back. I have over 2,000 BLURAYS & DVDS so I always have something to watch. Marie
