There are many questions to be asked: how long you have the washer; is this a newer issue, or ongoing since you got the washer. How do you know the water is back flowing, instead of overflowing due to a blockage in the pipe. I would suggest to have a plumber check the installation/circuit of the water, that include proper water connection and drainage. On the other hand, if the machine is new, it might have a manufacturing defect that might be covered by warranty. I just purchased a new LG and had to exchange it because was not draining the dirty water after washing. The exchanged machine was using hot water instead of cold. That was an easy fix - had to invert the cold/hot water hose that was improperly connected at delivery. Hope I could help.
