“Soak - I like to soak my clothes in oxy clean for several hours. Can I accomplish this if I keep the lid closed and pause the machine or will it drain the water after a period of time? I don't understand why we can't change the soak time.”

If the washer remains idle for 4 minutes after pausing the cycle, the water in the tub will drain. This cannot be changed. The soak option provides a 30-minute presoak prior to the start of the selected cycle. Use the Soak option to presoak garments to help remove difficult spots or stains on fabrics. At the end of the presoak time, the selected cycle will begin with the same water used for the soak. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Aside from filling the washer by hand without turning it on, there is no way to soak clothes in this machine. How dumb!!! Who would design a washer that cannot soak for several hours? Ridiculous! I am going to hook up a hose next to my washer for this purpose. I should not have to do this--but I am now stuck with this machine!
