“Is this front loader a Non-HE washing machine? The specification says that is not Not High Efficiency. But in the description, it uses the term High Efficiency. If this is not High Efficiency, then how much water does it use comparatively.”

the manual says to use HE detergent and that it is a HE washer. It states that it senses the load and adjusts the water level accordingly. It does not fill the drum with water like the older top loaders used to do. Seems like after it's been tumbling the load for a while and everything is soaked that the water level is just below the level of the clothing. Manual didn't give any specs on the exact amount of water.

Please try again later.I believe at the cold setting the machine will add some hot water to keep a minimum temperature if the cold water is super cold while tap cold is straight from the tap no matter what. Btw I love how The autocorrect on DonnaM's pc came up with "kink" instead of "kind".
