To operate the chime you press the cold wash button for 3 seconds any time that the machine is on.You will hear a small beep and the signal will be off press and hold again you will hear another small beep and it will be back on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My washer is a 7150 top loader and have no controls for the chime signals. If it stopped working if try inplugging the machine for about 60 seconds and see if it reset that way.If not id call maintenance for instructions. I did notice though that some lg washers have a chime disable. To use this you press and hold the two buttons over the signal control for 3 seconds to turn off the signal chime and press these same buttons for 3 seconds to re-enable the chime signal.
