Hello PatS. It obviously is not normal for a new washer, or even an old washer, to be so loud that you can hear it from the other end of your house. Has the new washer always been this loud since it was installed when you purchased it as a replacement on January 14, 2023? If this ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.5 cu.ft. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for your help, Ivan. I contacted LG and we were able to determine the problem and fix it on the phone. It was a problem with the drain hose being inserted too far into the drain on the wall when the machine was first installed. My LG phone representative, Sarah, was amazing and completely knowledgeable with the problem.
